Kate Everly, Managing Editor
Kate is a senior and a senior editor for the newspaper. She loves backpacking and outdoor activities like kayaking, camping and skiing. She became interested in skiing and backpacking after living in New Zealand for over three years. Ever since living overseas, she has been more interested in traveling around the world and is looking forward to multiple semesters abroad while in college. Her favorite subject is biology and she can't wait to begin her college experience in the hope to someday become a veterinarian. Although she doesn't plan to pursue journalism as a career, she loves creative writing and is expecting to continue to work on her college's newspaper.
