Emily Winkle is a junior at North Atlanta High School and excited to begin her journey on the Wire! Although Emily is facing her most rigorous year yet, she is ready to work hard to produce outstanding stories. On the off chance that she has an afternoon with minimal homework, Emily is probably hanging out with her younger sister or playing with her mischievous (and adorable) miniature dachshund puppy, Maple. Her other hobbies include maxing out her library card, writing fiction, being a book nerd, and creating her own (partially successful) knitting patterns. Even though Emily enjoys laughing loudly around her friends, she can tend to be a bit shy. Emily may be the quiet kid in class, but she is ready to listen and ready to report for the NAHS Warrior Wire.
