North Atlanta’s record may be a little worse off then expected, but they are clearly leaving it all out on the court.

The Basketball Warriors have not had a great season so far on the court. They struggle both at home and away. The loss of 10 seniors has really taken a toll on the players and the coach.

“I think there is more that we can do to step up this record. We have a lot of potential and we can do better,” said senior Landon Dunnell.

“We as players need to understand each other better as a team, listen to our coach more, start to execute our plays, and listen to each other on the court,” said junior Cameron Fearon. “Our coach pushes us to our fullest potential in practice everyday so we need to do better.”

The team has had major losses at the hands of Riverwood, Grady and Kell, but the most painful losses have come from Riverwood and South Atlanta, games where the Warriors fell by more than 30 points.

The Warriors are 5-11 with only six games left in the season. Hopefully with better play and enthusiastic support from the stands, the Warriors can turn their season around.
