Linda Stevenson, a NAHS teacher and long-time employee of NAHS and Atlanta Public Schools, passed away at about 7:30 this morning. Linda was an incredible person, teacher, and colleague. She fought an amazing battle, while encouraging others on our staff and in the community who are facing their own battles with illness. As was her nature, Linda taught us much about courage, endurance and the human spirit. Her lessons will live on through us, guiding and reminding us that there is so much life to live, love to give, and kindness to share.

Information regarding services will be provided when they are available but given the current weather conditions, services may not be held until next week or weekend.

An administrator will meet with Ms. Stevenson’s students Tuesday and Wednesday next week to provide support and information regarding their course. District and NAHS Counselors will be available on Tuesday to provide our staff and students with support.
