Namaste! Warriors Will Go for the Zen in New Yoga Club

It’s pretty much a given fact that all students at North Atlanta are under stress. If you need to relax during the week, come to yoga club for a rejuvenating hour of exercise with Natalie Brandhorst in Room 4285. Not only will you have an awesome time, but this year money is being fundraised through the club for the Sibu sanctuary supporting howler monkeys in Costa Rica.

Students first came to Brandhorst asking if she would be the teacher adviser for the club. “I was very interested in it because I think yoga is one of the most relaxing, peaceful, clear-your-mind-and-soul things you can do,” Brandhorst said. “It doesn’t cause a lot of stress on your body but it does let you work on your core.”

Club meetings will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. All students are asked to sign up prior to coming by emailing your name and WarriorYoga to [email protected].

Wear athletic clothing, bring a mat and come support your warrior yoga club and the howler monkeys.
