The North Atlanta football team has not been one to brag about the last few years. However, coming off of a successful last season, Coach Jeremy Gainer and the team are confident, especially after a successful scrimmage on August 5 against Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School. The Warrior bested the Bears during the scrimmage held at Warrior Field with a final score of 36-14. Some of the veterans on the field shared their outlooks on the season:

“Yes I think we’re on the come up, the school should be prepared for a big change,” said junior center Kaleb Fitzpatrick.

“We’ve been coming together well, we’ve been practicing and working hard every week,” said junior wide receiver Andrew Stimpson.

“You can expect hard work and results. Everyone is working hard. We’re trying to beat last year’s record.” said senior Elijah Lewis.

“If we can just cut down on penalties from last year and capitalize on drives, we’ll be putting up 40 points a game,” said junior slotback Tucker Shields.

“It’s just a small sample size for a long season, but expect big things to come. We getting better physically and mentally,” said senior fullback Marshall Musser.

The Warriors football program will be a source of pride for the entire school. Will you be there to see it happen?
