John Calame is a Junior embarking on his journalism career as a first year Wire Staffer. He has a passion for athletics as he is a player for the baseball team, and while he loves playing through intense moments on the diamond, he’s not so much a fan of watching them. When he’s not on the field, you can find him attempting to learn the same riffs on guitar over and over with the lofty goal of reaching the grand stage that is his empty bedroom. John finds himself at home in big cities, with the fast life of destinations such as New York City and Seattle being among his favorite spots. He hopes to combine journalism and language studies to report abroad someday.
